Bath Lift Invacare Electric with Recline. Take a bath safely with the Invacare Orca reclining Bath Lift – so easy to use and at the push of a button the backrest gently reclines to 40 degrees. The Bath Lift Invacare Orca has a stable, robust frame of and provides absolute safety whilst bathing. Can be used with or without the cover. High backrest with contoured neckrest which is particularly comfortable. Easy positioning with one hand and can also be folded with just one hand. The battery and controller are integrated in the hand control; the lithium-ion mangane-based rechargeable battery pack provides deep discharge protection and no memory effect. Maintenance free actuator, powerful and quiet.
The bath lift is made of two detachable components, the back support and the seat base. The two attach together by the backrest locking onto the seat base. The bath lift is positioned in the bottom of the bath and attached with 4 large suction caps.
The bath seat has wide side flaps which are hinged and fold upwards as the seat lowers. The seat is covered in detachable, anti-slip covering which can be removed and machine washed. The backrest has a recline function which is electrically operated by the hand held control.
The bath lift is lowered and raised using a hand held control that is buoyant should it be dropped in water. The bath lift is powered by a rechargeable battery which is charged after each use. There is a power back up mechanism, allowing the seat to be raised when the battery is low.
